What we collect, what we don't collect, and what third parties may collect when you visit.
The short version
The loan amounts, interest rates, and tenure values you type into our calculators never leave your browser. We do not log, store, or transmit anything you enter. The site has no backend that could even receive that data.
We use Google Analytics (to count page views), Google AdSense and Adsterra (to serve ads), and we may include affiliate links. These third parties may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data — but none of them has access to the loan amounts, rates, or tenures you type into the calculators.
What we collect directly
Nothing. The site is a static HTML/CSS/JavaScript application. There is no form submission, no account creation, no server-side logging of calculator inputs.
What third-party services may collect
Google Analytics
Standard Google Analytics 4 is installed to count page views and understand which pages people visit. It collects: anonymized IP address, pages viewed, time on site, browser type, screen size, country-level location, referrer. It does not have access to the values you type into calculators. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense (advertising)
Some ads on this site may be served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Adsterra (advertising)
Some ads on this site may be served by Adsterra, an advertising network. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to measure and personalize the ads you see. We do not share your calculator inputs with Adsterra. Their data practices are described in the Adsterra Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site — for example to lenders, banks, or financial products — may be affiliate links. If you click one and take an action (such as applying for a loan or product), we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies to attribute the referral. Affiliate relationships never influence our calculators or the math we show, and we do not pass your calculator inputs to any affiliate partner. We only feature links we consider genuinely relevant.
Cookie consent
Where required, a consent banner appears on first visit asking permission to use advertising and analytics cookies; you can decline. The calculators work fully even if you block all cookies.
URL parameters in share links
If you click "Copy share link," the URL we generate contains your calculator inputs (loan amount, rate, tenure, tax slab) as query parameters. This URL is shared only when you actively share it — we don't transmit it anywhere automatically. If you don't want these values in the URL, simply don't click the share button.
Local browser storage (calculator history)
The core calculators (home, car, personal, education, business loan) save your recent calculations to your browser's localStorage when you click Share, Download PDF, or Download Excel. This is so you can compare scenarios across sessions without losing them. Some specific guarantees:
- These saved scenarios never leave your device. They are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
- They are stored only on this specific browser on this specific device. They don't sync across devices.
- Each calculator stores at most 5 recent scenarios; older ones are auto-deleted.
- You can clear this history at any time using the "Clear all" button in the history panel on each calculator.
- You can also disable history entirely (see below).
- Clearing your browser's site data also clears this history.
To disable history: open your browser's developer console on any calculator page and run IndiaEMI.setHistoryEnabled(false). This persists across sessions until you re-enable it.
Cookies set by this site
This site sets no first-party cookies of its own. Any cookies you receive come from the third-party services above — Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Adsterra, and affiliate partners — primarily for analytics and advertising. You can block all cookies in your browser settings; the calculators still work normally without them.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. Material changes (new tracking, new data collection) will be flagged on the homepage briefly.
